Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Sameia, President of Assiut
University has signed a memorandum of understanding to set means of scientific
and cultural cooperation between Assiut University and Tokyo Institute, Japan.
The memo aims at stating methods and mechanisms to enable the cooperation
between the two parties in such fields as: teaching, scientific research, mutual
exchange of activities, publications, conferences, seminars, and exchange of
expertise, the memo also included exchange of faculty members and students.
Dr. Ahmed A. Gaeis, Vice President for Graduate
Studies and Research has indicated that this memo is a step towards opening
venues with Arab and foreign universities and research institutes to promote the
level of graduate studies and research in addition to developing the various
educational programs in all fields.
