Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, held a meeting with the Higher Coordination Committee to follow up on the project of establishing the new University Oncology Hospital, on Tuesday, October 8, within the framework of the university's interest in developing its university hospitals and contributing to achieving national goals; to improve the health system in Upper Egypt and provide medical services with high efficiency; meeting the aspirations of patients from all over the Republic.
During the committee meeting, Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy directed the need to pay the ongoing implementation rates of the project, adhere to the specified schedule for the executive stages, and take all necessary steps to overcome any obstacles or obstacles facing the current work.
The new University Oncology Hospital project is one of the important national projects, designed to be built according to the latest advanced medical systems, and is scheduled to be a leading medical edifice to serve oncology patients, in the implementation of the Egyptian state's strategy in supporting and developing health services provided to citizens.
The meeting reviewed the volume of the ongoing work and the executive phases of the project, which has an area of (15) thousand square meters, and consists of a basement, a basement, and (10) floors, and includes all the necessary medical and therapeutic services for oncology patients, nursing units, diagnostic and therapeutic departments; for all auxiliary services.
The meeting was attended by members of the Higher Coordination Committee, namely: Dr. Noubi Mohamed Hassan, Coordinator of the Advisory Group at the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Mohamed Helmy Al-Hafnawi, Engineering Advisor to the President of the University, the university's representative in the contract management, Dr. Douib Saber, the legal advisor of the President of the University, Dr. Khaled Fares, Acting Dean of the Southern Egypt Oncology Institute, Dr. Abdelmanttalib Mohamed, Director of Project Implementation, Mr. Shawkat Saber, Secretary General of the University, Professor Ayman Shehata, Assistant Secretary, concerned gentlemen, Directors Generals and specialized departments.
