Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawi, Acting President of Assiut University, Dr. Maha Ghanem, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, received the volunteer students in ICT, Communication and Information Technology Support, participating in the Cop27 Climate Conference in Sharm El-Sheikh. The students were accompanied by Dr. Tayseer Hassan Suleiman, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information, and two students, Ahmed Hamada Sayed and Mohamed Walid Mohamed, enrolled in the third year, Faculty of Computers and Information, Software Engineering Program.
During the meeting, Dr. Maha Ghanem expressed her pride in the students participating in the activities of the conference and urged them to transfer the experience to their fellow students. She also declared the interest of the government, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in encouraging the youth of the university.
For her part, Dr. Tayseer Suleiman explained that the university spares no effort in sponsoring the innovative and creative students who were selected among the volunteers to join the conference in many tasks at the Climate Summit. The team included students: Ahmed Hamada Sayed, Muhammad Walid Muhammad, Abdul Rahman Al-Sayed, and Santi Awad, enrolled in third year student, Faculty of Computers and Information, Software Engineering Program.
