Assiut University organizes a visit to a delegation of students from five Arab countries to the Virgin Mary Monastery of Mount Assiut

Prof. Dr. Shehata Ghareeb, Vice-President of Assiut University for Education and Students Affairs, said that the university organized a tour and archaeological trip for its guests from the Arab student delegation, which is spending a one-month training period for scientific and practical study within a number of faculties, factories and companies in Assiut. The Vice President of Assiut University praised the increase of the student delegation to the Monastery of the Virgin Mary as it is one of the most important archaeological and religious monuments in the governorates of the Republic. Dr. Shehata Ghareeb noted that the student delegation comprises 28 students along with a number of supervisors from the countries of Palestine, Iraq, Jordan, Yemen and Saudi Arabia, which was received on July 1 within the framework of the League's partnership in the Arab Council for Student Training of the Arab Universities Union, headed by Dr. Amr. Ezzat Salama, Secretary General of the Federation.
