Dr. Tarek El-Gamal, President of Assiut University, delegated his deputy for education and student affairs, Dr. Shehata Gharib, to open the eleventh International Conference on Environment and Development in the Arab World, extending from February 20 to 22, during which he announced the new enlightenment project of Assiut University i.e., “Civilization Street.”. This project is meant to revive the heritage of Assiut Governorate, which the President of Assiut University decided to allocate the university housing street next to the Omar Makram Mosque as its headquarters, under the supervision of the community service and environmental development sector.
