Assiut University wins first place in the first cultural beach meeting competition for female students of Egyptian universities and institutes

Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, congratulated the university's female students who won several first-place positions during their participation in the first cultural beach meeting for university and institute . The event was held at Baltim Summer Camp, under the supervision of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, from August 21st to 25th of this year.

prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy explained that the students participated in various activities at the meeting, including public speaking, cultural and informational competitions, wall newspapers, memorization of the entire Quran, religious chanting, and hymns.

President of Assiut University emphasized the university's commitment to honing the talents of its students, discovering their creative abilities, and encouraging them to participate in various local, regional, and international student events. This is in line with the objectives of the national strategy for higher education and Egypt's 2030 vision, which calls for supporting Egyptian youth in various fields.

Prof. Ahmed Abdel Mawla mentioned the students who achieved first and second place in various competitions, including Fibi Hani (Faculty of Law) who won first place in public speaking, and Anna Simone Anis (Faculty of Computers and Information) who won first place in the chanting competition. Additionally, participation in other competitions resulted in students obtaining second, fourth, and sixth places.

The organization of this meeting was supervised by prof. Karim Hamam, advisor of the Minister of Higher Education for student activities, prof. Sami Dayf, head of the Ministry of Education's sector, and Mr. Ahmed Abu Al-Mahasen, Director General of the General Administration for Student welfare department at the Ministry.

The participation of Assiut University students in the meeting was under the supervision of prof. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, prof. Madeeha Darwish, General Supervisor of Student Activities at the University, Dr. Haitham Ibrahim, Director General of the General Administration for Student Care at the University, and Mr. Hashem Sayed, Director of the Cultural Activity Department and General Supervisor of the delegation.
