Prof. El-Minshawy chaired the first academic council meeting of Assuit National University to discuss a number of topics related to the educational process.

The Academic Council of Assiut National University maintained its first meeting under the chairmanship of Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, the President of Assiut University and the Commissioner for the Management of Assiut Private University. The meeting aimed to discuss a number of topics related to the educational and administrative process. It was attended by Prof. Nouby Mohamed Hassan, Vice President of Assiut Private University for Academic Affairs, and Prof. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President of Assiut University for Education and Students Affairs, as well as the deans of the colleges responsible for the study at the private university, and Mr. Mostafa Hassan, the Secretary-General of the private university.

At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy praised the distinguished performance during the previous academic year at all educational levels and the focus on university activities, culminating in the exams and announcing the results of the students in all faculties . He wished for a successful academic year full of achievements and successes.

Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy also emphasized the support and care provided by Assiut University to Assiut Private University, whether on the scientific or logistical level, in order to fulfill the trust and demand of the large numbers of students willing to enroll in the faculties  of the private university and benefit from its distinguished academic programs.

Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy also directed the need for all academic and administrative staff at the university to cooperate in taking all necessary measures to prepare for the academic year 2024/2025, which marks the third year of the establishment of the private university, emerged from Assiut Governmental University.

The Academic Council also discussed important issues, including the necessary procedures to approve transfer requests to and from Assiut University, in accordance with the rules and regulations stipulated by the Supreme Council for Private Universities. They also discussed the approval of the regulations of the Faculty of Languages and Applied Languages after making the required modifications, in accordance with the rules and regulations of the sector committee. The meeting also included the approval of the new regulations of the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Assiut Private University, which includes programs in sustainable energy engineering, materials and production engineering, industrial engineering and smart manufacturing technology, urban planning and geomatics engineering, as well as environmental architecture engineering.
