Immediate response from the President of Assiut University: Prof. El-Minshawy responds to the family of the paitient with a brain tumor and directs his treatment at the University Neurological and Psychiatric Hospital

Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, went to the University Hospital of Neurological, Psychiatric and Neurosurgery, to check on the health status of the citizen: A. P. A/Darnka Center, after urgent surgery to remove a brain tumor.

During the visit, Prof. El-Manshawy assured the provision of all aspects of health care to citizen A. P. P, and provide the necessary treatment for him until he recovers; directing the medical staff to provide all forms of medical and psychological support to him, until he is discharged from the hospital.

The University Hospital of Neurological and Psychiatric Diseases and Neurosurgery in Assiut had received the citizen's status: A. P. On Saturday, August 31, in an immediate response from Prof. Ahmed Al-Minshawy, President of the University; for the relief of the citizen's family.

The citizen was suffering from a disorder in the degree of consciousness, severe failure in the left side of the body, and continuous vomiting for two days, and the case was corresponded by; neurosurgeons, and the necessary analysis and radiology, which showed: the presence of multiple tumors in the brain; one of them: the right lateral lobe, with bleeding inside the tumor, and another: small; in the right frontal lobe, explaining that urgent steps were immediately taken to perform immediate surgery for the citizen; to remove the tumor.

Surgery was performed to remove the tumor and unload bleeding; at the Psychiatric, Neurological Diseases and Neurosurgery Hospital, under the supervision of Dr. Mohammed Abdul Basit, Director of the hospital, and by a medical team led by Dr. Osama Mahmoud Ramadan, a teacher of neurosurgery, which included: Dr. Fahad Abdul Sabbour in the Department of Neurosurgery, and Dr. Mahmoud Faisal, Consultant in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, stressing that after the operation, the degree of awareness returned to the citizen, and a noticeable improvement was made in the failure of the left side; to complete the treatment in cooperation with the professors of the oncology Department to determine the appropriate treatment protocol.
