Today, Monday morning, Prof. Ahmed Al-Minshawi, President of Assuit University, inaugurated the Conscription Services Office in the Campus’s Services Complex behind the Central Restaurant Building of Assuit University in the presence of Brigadier-General Hany Mohamed Sulaiman Harfoush, Commander of Assuit Conscription and Mobilization Zone, and Lieutenant-Colonel Mahmoud El-Gibali, Head of the Information Systems Division, and with the participation of Prof. Ahmed Abd El-Moula, University Vice-President for Education and Student Affairs; Mr. Wael Mohamed Mahmoud, Assistant Secretary of the University; Mr. Moustafa Shueib, Manager of the University’s Services Complex; and Mr. Salah Hamam, Manager of the Military Liaison Office.
Prof. Ahmed Al-Minshawi, President of Assuit University, stressed that the University’s administration is keen to develop its academic and administrative services for its students, keep working so as to provide all necessary means of support and care to make it easier for its affiliates, cooperate with competent authorities to provide facilities, and offer various services within the campus. Besides, the University’s administration takes all necessary measures to create a supportive environment for its future students who are coming from the different governorates of Upper Egypt.
The President of Assuit University followed up the work procedures in the Conscription Services Office which are regular and accurate. He praised the facilities provided by the Egyptian Armed Forces and the Conscription and Mobilization Administration to accomplish conscription procedures and offer tangible humanitarian and social services, besides their care for students and keenness to make it easier for them under the direction of Brigadier-General Mohamed Sobhy Mihana, Manager of the Armed Forces’ Conscription and Mobilization Administration. This emphasizes the importance of positive cooperation with all the sectors and institutions of the State, which benefits students and lifts their suffering and burdens.
Prof. Ahmed Abd El-Moula, on his part, praised the inauguration of the Conscription Services Office within the University, which represents a new addition within the system of developing the student services provided by the University. He also highlighted the important role of the office in providing Military Form 2 and Military Form 7 that former and new students in Assuit Governmental or Private University must abide by so as to help them overcome obstacles.

He added that the Services Complex offers important services through its various offices such as post offices, the real estate registration office, the civil registry office, police services, and train ticket reservation. It is considered the first complex of its kind at the level of Egyptian Universities which provides important services to its students, employees and faculty members.
