About

The Department of Forensic Medicine and Clinical Toxicology was established at the faculty of Medicine, Assiut University, with the aim of strengthening the policy of using advanced learning methods (such as self-education, simulation and case study) for undergraduate and graduate students.

It also aims to increase students' ability to excel at medical education in the fields of forensic medicine and clinical toxicology.

Projects

Forensic Medicine and Clinical Toxicology Department projects:

1. Forensic Medical Consultation Center

Aim: discussing all forensic issues, including issues related to DNA and medical responsibility.

1. Clinical Toxicology and Forensic Medical Chemistry

Aim: establishing a poison treatment center at Assiut University, such as addictive substances, heavy metals, and pesticides.

1. Forensic DNA Diagnostic Laboratory
