Research Abstract

Methods: This was a case–control study. Thirty-five patients with renal failure and 32 normal
controls with normal semen and normal renal functions were included in the study. Patients
and controls in the study were subjected to semen analysis and hormonal profile [follicle-
stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), total testosterone and prolactin
(PRL)]. Results: Semen volume, sperm concentration and sperm motility were lower in
