Research Abstract

This paper reports on the role of CT in evaluating patients with entirely submucosal
laryngeal mass lesions and the range of pathology encountered in this population. Twenty-
four patients with submucosal mass lesions were studied over a period of 15 years. Charts
were reviewed to establish the presenting complaints, time to diagnosis, and number of
endoscopic procedures required to make the diagnosis. Final diagnoses were confirmed
