Why Faculty of Nursing at AUN ?

The faculty of nursing issues a scientific journal specialized in publishing scientific research in various nursing specialties. In addition to, it is the first faculty of Nursing in Upper Egypt.

Faculty of scholarship

Faculty of Nursing - Assiut University is accredited from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation.

Book library and store

Holds the Arab Impact Factor of the Federation of Arab Universities 0.96 and is listed on the Egyptian Knowledge Bank for scientific journals as well as listed among the journals that are judged by the Promotions Committee for the degree of professors and assistant professors in different nursing specialties.

Dean of the Faculty of Nursing

It is my honor to be the dean of the Faculty of Nursing at Assiut University. This faculty has an important role in leading healthcare on the regional and national levels. Nursing has an essential goal in serving humans, relieving pain, and reducing diseases. We achieve our goal through providing our students with a critique education and information that will enable them to improve people’s health. 

There are some rules that must be followed by nurses and nursing students as well, which includes:

  • Not to disclose any kind of information related to patients or the team. 
  • There must be mutual trust between patients and the nursing team.

Lastly, all our faculty members strive to educate, help, and guide the students in gaining advanced scientific knowledge and skills in different nursing specialties.
