Today, Prof. Dr. Fatima Roshdy Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, officially blew the starting whistle for the 5-a-Side Football League for the 2025/2026 academic year. The tournament brings together students from:

• Faculty of Nursing (Credit Hour System).

• Specialized Nursing Program.

• Technical Nursing Institute.

The opening ceremony was attended by:

• Prof. Dr. Magda Ahmed Mohamed – Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.

• Prof. Dr. Nahed Shawkat Abou El-Majd – Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

• Ms. Eman Ghadir Mostafa – General Secretary of the Faculty.

• Dr. Hanaa Mohamed Ahmed – Internship Coordinator.

• Mr. Mahmoud Ahmed Abdel-Laah – Director of Youth Welfare Administration.

• Members of the Student Sports Committee.

During her address, the Dean emphasized that the league is being held under the slogan "A Sound Mind in a Sound Body," highlighting the vital role of sports in a university student's life and its contributions toward:

• Promoting positive teamwork.

• Fostering enthusiasm and courage.

• Instilling values of cooperation and camaraderie among students.

• Channeling student energy in a positive and productive manner.

The league activities will continue throughout the week in an atmosphere of fair competition and vibrant student participation.
