As part of the college’s keenness to provide facilities to international students, the Faculty of Nursing, Assiut University, held an introductory day for international students.
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy, President of the University, and Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawli, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and with the generous sponsorship of Mrs. Professor Dr. Samah Muhammad Abdullah - Dean of the College, and Mrs. Professor Dr. Fatima Rushdi Muhammad, Vice President of the College for Education and Student Affairs. Mrs. Professor Dr. Ikram Ibrahim Muhammad, Vice Dean of the College for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs, Mrs. Professor Dr. Mervat Ali Khamis, Vice Dean of the College for Environmental Affairs and Community Service, and Mr. Prof. Dr. Gamal Jamal Badr, Vice Dean of the College of Science for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs and Coordinator of International Relations at the University. And Mrs. Dr. Shaima Abdel Rahim Khalaf, Director of the International Student Follow-up Unit, and in the presence of the heads of departments, directors of academic programs, departments and service units, and the Youth Welfare Department, an introductory day for international students at the College of Nursing was held in the conference hall in the college’s laboratory building. The meeting began its effectiveness at exactly eleven o’clock in the morning. In an opening speech by Mrs. Professor Dr. Samah Muhammad Abdullah - Dean of the College, where Her Excellency welcomed the incoming students and stressed the necessity of paying attention to the incoming students and striving to overcome the difficulties they face during their studies. Mrs. Professor Dr. Fatima Rushdi Muhammad, the college’s Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, presented the facilities that It is provided by the college through program coordinators and the expatriates unit To serve international students, Professor Dr. Gamal Gamal Badr, Vice Dean of the College of Science for Postgraduate Studies and Research and Coordinator of International Relations at the University, presented marketing methods for academic programs to increase the number of international students and accredit study programs internationally, as well as the college’s status among the university’s colleges.
