Assiut University announces the opening of applications for the Fulbright English Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) program to study in the United States

 

Assiut University announces, under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of the University, and the supervision of Dr. Mahmoud Abdel-Alim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, the opening of applications for the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) program, in cooperation with the Supreme Council of Universities and the Fulbright Commission/Egypt.

Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, explained that the "Fulbright Program" aims to develop teachers' professional skills, and to gain direct knowledge of the United States, its culture, and its people, and to develop knowledge of foreign cultures and languages, and to exchange different cultures.

The Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) program provides opportunities for English language teachers, or specialists at the beginning of their careers in related fields of study; To enhance their educational skills and increase their proficiency in the English language, for one academic year (9 months of academic study) in the United States, and is non-renewable, noting that applications are available until July 11, 2024.
