Assiut University announces that students of the Faculty of Quality Education will receive the Award for Creativity and Excellence at the level of Egyptian universities
Dr. Tarek Al Jamal, President of Assiut University, congratulated the participating student team of students from the Department of Technical Education at the Faculty of Quality Education at Assiut University in the events of the Festival of Popular Crafts at Egyptian Universities - Creative Leader of Aswan, for winning the Award of Creativity and Excellence among universities, organized by the Institute for The Preparation of Leaders in the Ministry of Higher Education and in partnership with The University of Aswan under the slogan "Khair Baladi" from February 4 to 8, under the auspices of Dr. Khalid Abdul Ghaffar Minister Higher education, led by Dr. Karim Hammam, Director of the Institute, supervised by Dr. Hussam al-Din Mustafa, and Dr. Abdel Moneim Al-Jilani, agents of the Institute.
For his part, Dr. Shehata Ghraib, Vice President of the University for Education and Students Affairs, praised the excellence, creativity and excellence enjoyed by university students and their superior ability to compete in all local and international competitions in various fields and win advanced positions, pointing out that the festival comes in implementation of the vision of political leadership towards the rooting of the Egyptian identity, and the preservation of our popular heritage of extinction, especially among university students through the establishment of art exhibitions and workshops that earn students a range of skills and crafts that Egypt has been known throughout its history according to the nature of the inhabitants of the regions, and the geographical location of various Egyptian universities, through students of specialized colleges to introduce participating students to popular crafts and small and micro industries throughout Egypt.
Dr. Wajdi Rifaat, Dean of the Faculty of Quality Education, pointed out the participation of the student delegation in the festival activities through a number of works of art and crafts, which express the environment of Assiut province, which included the works of shells, bone works, horn and woodwork, all of which are characterized by mastery and creativity in design, form and functionality, pointing out that students were trained and qualified to participate in the festival activities in cooperation with the General Department of Youth Welfare at the University. This is an affirmation of the university's management's continued support and encouragement of its distinguished children in various student activities, the development of their creative abilities and the work to develop them.
Dr. Abrar Mustafa, Undersecretary of the Faculty of Quality Education for Education and Students Affairs, pointed out that the participation of the student delegation came under the supervision of Dr. Hala Salaheddine, head of the technical education department of the college, and accompanied the delegation Dr. Saeed Mustafa al-Mudarres in the department of technical education at the college and the student delegation included students Mustafa Mohammed Maher, Ahmed Murad of the 4th Division, and Ameema Background, Yamina Jamal of the third band.
