Research Abstract

Abstract:
An improved process for producing discharge reserve prints on textile materials dyed ground with the azo reactive dye i.e. remazol type on synthetic fibers (polyamide 6). The process comprises applying textile material in the form of the above dye class, at least partially drying the dyed material, applying a discharge reserve printing paste to the material by printing the desired pattern. The discharge paste containing magnesium salt and sulphanilic acid as a discharging agent. The printed materials drying at mild temperatures, and fixing by a steaming process in saturated steam. Tensile strength of discharged polyamide fabric was examined.
