Assiut University launches the national team championship with exhibition paragraphs expressing the cultures and arts of the participating countries

Dr. Tarek Al Jamal, President of Assiut University, witnessed the launch ceremony of the national teams championship in the hall covered by the university as part of the events of the second day of the Forum of Peoples Week organized by the University in its second edition in the presence of Dr. Shehata Gharib, Vice President of the University for Education and Students Affairs and General Supervisor of the Organization of the Forum, Dr. Wajdi Rifaat Nakhla, Dean of the Faculty of Quality Education, Dr. Madiha Darwish, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Kamal Suleiman, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Sports Education, and Dr. Jamal Mohammed Ali, Dean of the Faculty of Quality Education. The former college and a group of faculty members and a crowd of Egyptian students and immigrants from the University of Assiut and Egyptian universities.

Dr. Tarek Al Jamal, President of Assiut University, said that the national team championship comes within the framework of the sports day of the forum, which emphasizes the importance of sports in uniting the peoples of the world, and establishing bonds of friendliness, peace and fraternity among the peoples of humanity, pointing out that the forum witnessed the participation of student delegations representing 30 Arab and African countries of students in Egyptian universities and extends from March 23 to 28, 2022.

Dr. Shehata Gharib, Vice President of the University for Education and Students Affairs, revealed that the tournament was attended by a technical ceremony for students of the Department of Musical Education at the Faculty of Quality Education at Assiut University, which included artistic paragraphs reflecting Egyptian culture starting from the ancient Egyptian civilization, as well as the art expressing Nubia, Upper Egypt and the Delta region, followed by an extensive review of education students that included the presentation of reviews expressing the cultures of peoples such as Oman, Sudan, Palestine, Syria, India and the Gulf states, which were designed and implemented under Supervised by Dr. Wajda Rifaat Nakhla, Dean of the Faculty and Advisor to the Technical Committee, Dr. Abrar Mustafa, Faculty Undersecretary, Dr. Montaser Al-Qalali, Head of The Department of Musical Education, Dr. Nahed Mustafa and Dr. Abeer Kamal.

Dr. Shehata Ghraib added that the tournament includes competition in the fields of table tennis and football, which is held in the knockout system once, which started with a match between the team of faculty members of the University of Assiut and the team of coordinators and supervisors of the participating universities to be completed with successive matches between the teams of participating universities.
