Dr. Ahmed Al-Manshawy, Acting President of Assiut University, stressed that the Faculty of Quality Education is one of the distinguished faculties of the university because of its human cadres of faculty members and students with a wonderful aesthetic and artistic sense, which seeks to be one of the tributaries of enlightenment and art in Egypt and build generations equipped with science and knowledge in various fields of specialization and able to improve the general taste of society and the surrounding environment, which comes within the framework of the university's strategy aimed at spreading awareness and creating an enlightenment and cultural movement. Not only among the pillars of its faculties but among the community groups through the establishment of many art exhibitions and various workshops in various artistic fields.
This came during the opening of the art exhibition specializing in woodworking entitled "Sobriety and Fluidity" by the artist Dr. Mohamed Abdel Basit, Assistant Professor of Woodworking at the Department of Art Education at the College of Quality Education, in the presence of Dr. Wajda Rifaat, Dean of the College of Quality Education, Dr. Hala Salaheddine, Head of the Department of Art Education at the College of Quality Education, Dr. Mohamed Thabet Badari, Head of the Department of Photography and former Dean of the College of Fine Arts, and Dr. Ahmed Salah Qaraa, former Dean of the College of Physical Education and with the participation of a group of faculty members And their assistants, students in various academic years and graduate students in the college.

On the details of the exhibition, Dr. Wajda Rifaat pointed out that the exhibition is held during the period from August 28 to September 6, 2022 in the exhibition hall of the college and includes about 15 works and his idea revolves around the permanent conflict in the specialization of woodworking between the values of sobriety and fluidity and its integration into the same work in the whole work of the exhibition as a main plastic idea involved in the permanent conflict of woodworking specialists.
Dr. Mohamed Abdel Basset explained that a set of different techniques have been used for woodworking, which may benefit the recipient of the general public and specialists for the existence of an applied product of these techniques with a focus on good finishing to keep pace with the modern development in the form of workpieces, as the emphasis was placed on the features of the era in the methods of dismantling and installation for ease of carrying and storage with the presence of many forms of interaction with the work in line with the features of tasting the work in a way that corresponds to the rules of artistic modernity by providing a different vision in each interaction of pedestrians
