Dr. Tarek El-Jamal, President of Assiut University, stressed that the strength and durability of the national fabric and the unity and harmony of the Egyptian people, which is one of the most important pillars of the strength and steadfastness of the Egyptian state, is also one of the direct reasons that enabled Egypt to face many of the challenges and difficulties it faced throughout its ancient and contemporary history.

This came during the visit of the President of Assiut University on Tuesday evening to a number of churches and monasteries assiut to congratulate the Coptic brothers on the occasion of The Holy Sepulchre, which was accompanied by Dr. Shehata Gharib, Vice President for Education and Students, Dr. Ahmed Al-Manshawi, Vice President for Graduate Affairs and Research, Dr. Maha Kamel Ghanem, Deputy for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Wajdi Rifaat Nakhla, Dean of the Faculty of Quality Education and Dr. Alaa Attieh, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman and Director of the Board of Directors of Assi university hospitals Executive Dr. Ihab Fawzi, Dr. Wadih Maximius, former Dean of the Faculty of Education and Dr. Mustafa Al-Saeed, Professor branching in the Department of Pediatrics, Professor Shaukat Saber, Secretary General of the University and a group of university leaders

The President of Assiut University pointed out in a media statement during his tour the steadfastness of Egypt in the face of many attempts that sought to divide the ranks and sow the seeds of strife among the Egyptian people, which only resulted in more unity of class and standing on the heart of one man to protect our dear country and preserve its Egyptian identity and the freedom of political will of its people, as Dr. Tarek El Gamal stressed that all religions and heavenly laws of all names call for all of them In its principles and overall teachings to promote noble human values and calls for the spread of peace, compassion and love among human beings.

It is worth mentioning that the tour of the President of Assiut University and the accompanying delegation included going to the Cathedral of Archangel Mikhail in Assiut, which is headed by The Prophet Ya'ans bishop of the cathedral and to the Church of the Second Evangelical Church, which is headed by Pastor Rafik, followed by a move to the first Evangelical Church, where they were received by the Pastor Bassem Wesa as well as to the Catholic Diocese and were received by The Prophet Kerles William.
