Rompun was applied at a dose rate of 0.2 mg/kg body weight intramuscularly to six female goats. The clinical reactions and biochemical parameters of blood serum and cerebrospinal fluid (C.S.F.) were monitored. The study revealed that Rompun injection was followed by an increase of glucose, urea nitrogen and cholesterol levels in the blood serum and C.S.F. A decrease of chloride levels was evident in blood serum and C.S.F.
