Research Abstract

Twenty eyes were collected fresh and immediately fixed in 10 °/o formalin for a morphologic study of the relationship of the lens to the overall all anatomy of the eye in 11 different species of domestic animals. Relationships between the weight, volume, axis length diameter, of the eyeball and the weight and volume of the lens were determined, as well as thickness of the anterior and posterior lens capsules.
