The president of assiut university, professor Muhammad Abd EL-Samie Eid, visited the faculty of engineering in his tour to ensure the stability of the educational process. Professor Muhammad Abd EL-Samie was accompanied with professor Adel Rayan Muhammad the vice-president of assiut university, professor Muhammad Abo El-Kassem Muhammad thevice dean  for society service and enviromental development, professsor Gamal Abo Zeid Abd El-Raheem the vice dean for education and students affairs, professor Abd El-Fattah Mahmoud Muhammad the former dean of the faculty, professor Galal Abd El-Azim from mining and metallurgical engineering department, professor Muhammad Atef Abd El-Hafeez from civil engineering department and some otherstaff members.

The mecahnical engineering department has approved to form a jury committee to evaluate the  master thesis proposed by eng Abd El-Fattah Kahool  Muhammad Soliman (postgraduate student) on Wednesday 2-10-2013  at 10.30 a.m. in the dicussion hall of the mechanical department.

The IT Unit in the faculty of engineering is wishing a happy new academic year for the old and the new students.

The elections of dean of the faculty will be held on Sunday 29-9-2013 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m in the committee hall in the faculty. we hope that the faculty members will come to participate in these elections

Professor El-sherif Muhammad Abd El-Aziz; the head of civil engineering department, and all the staff congratulate professor Muhammad Abo El- Kassem for being elected as the new dean of the faculty of engineering wishing him all the best in his new position.

The ITUnit of the faculty of engineering has been ranked first among other itunits in assiut university in the final evalution for the academic year 2013-2013.Also, assiut university has been ranked seventh among other itunits all over Egypt.

The mining and metallurgical engineering department has approved to form a jury committee to evaluate the  PhD thesis proposed by eng Waleed Saleh Sayed Muhammad on Saturday  5-10-2013  at 10.00 a.m. in the education development center in the mechanical department.
