Assiut University is witnessing the second conference of the Faculty of Arts under the title "Miqat”

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek El-Gamal, President of Assiut University, the Faculty of Arts witnessed the launch of the activities of its second conference under the title “Miqat”, which was organized by the TEDX team at the Faculty of Arts theater, in the presence of Dr. Shehata Ghareeb, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Maha Ghanem, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Dr. Magdy Abdel-Gawad, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Academic Supervisor, Dr. Sherine Abdel Ghaffar, Lecturer at the Faculty of Arts, and Dr. Ahmed Shareet, Director of Student Unions Department, as well as an elite group of lecturers in various fields, including Dr. Ibtisam Al-Qadi, physiotherapist, and Professor Ali Thabet in the field of training and administration of human resources, in addition to a group of faculty members and  students from the various academic teams.

It also included a number of inspiring and influential people, including Dr. Ibtisam Al-Qadi, a doctor of physiotherapy and fashion designer for veiled women since she has had success in this field. Dr. Mohamed El-Shazly, professor of plastic surgery in Assiut, founder of Operation Smile - Egypt and regional director of the Middle East and North Africa for Operation International Smile Foundation, who answered many of the questions that were addressed to him in a session entitled “The Smile Mechanism as a Miracle in Your Face.” Also, the student in the faculty of Engineering, Ibram Bishai participated presenting his unique talent, as he drew two inverted paintings while he was blindfolded. In addition to the participation of the student Mai Jamal at the Faculty of Pharmacy, she presented a section entitled “Science Simplification Laboratory”, and the student Abdul Rahman Khalif, who presented a section entitled “Life After Graduation”, besides the participation of the student, Nihad Younes, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, and the designer of the RED application, which makes it easier for patients to reach donors with the appropriate blood type, in a session entitled “The Pain Was”. The student Marwan Muhammad Talib at the Faculty of Arts, Department of Translation, presented the session “Are You Special OR You Just Thought that”, and the student Ahmed El-Feki at the Faculty of Medicine, presented a paragraph entitled “Searching for Meaning”, and Eng. Maryam Jamal also participated in a session entitled “We have to dig” deep inside a mind of a dyslexic", adding that these sessions are recorded to be presented on the TED global platform for dissemination.
