Under the auspices of Prof. 
				Moustafa Mohamed Kamal, President of the University, and Prof. 
				Said Ahmed Ibrahim, the Vice- President for Students Affairs and 
				Education started at Assiut University the activities of Fourth 
				Forum of Egyptian Faculties of Computer and Information Science. 
				In his speech, President of the University stressed the 
				importance of the role of university education in forming 
				Cognitive stock and that understanding is rooted in the culture 
				of our societies and awareness of Egyptian history and 
				civilization, and that the failure to achieve its objectives 
				means failing in the preparation of human resources and so in 
				human development. Prof. Moustafa noted the important role of 
				the students' activities in educational policies to build the 
				personality of university student and to be prepared to meet 
				them in the future and achieve psychological balance and 
				personal development. 
				Prof. Said Ahmed Ibrahim, the Vice-President for Students 
				Affairs and Education declared that Assiut University is 
				distinguished by the interest in student activities and support 
				for establishing Students libraries, pointing out that it would 
				achieve the scientific, cultural and intellectual communication 
				among students in various universities. 
				Prof. Hosni Mohamed Ibrahim, Dean of the Faculty and General 
				Supervisor of the Forum that the forum attended by students from 
				11 university in Egypt and includes its activities of cultural, 
				sports, social, artistic and scientific, technological 
				competitions and others, as held on the sidelines of the forum a 
				campaign to donate blood for patients with tumors. 
				Prof. Adel Abu al-Majd el Swisy, the Vice- Dean, and General 
				Coordinator of the Forum stated that the main objective of the 
				Forum is to create chance of meeting and communicating among the 
				Egyptian students and to identify their respective capacities.
