Assiut University receives an elite of faculty members in Vienna to participate in the workshop of the Institute for Molecular Biology Research and Studies, to be held tomorrow

Assiut University President, Prof. Tarek El-Gammal, emphasized his continuous follow-up of all research activities of the university related to the medical, animal, agricultural, industrial and environmental fields and their applications in solving societal problems, pointing out that the Institute of Molecular Biology is one of the most important tributaries that play this applied role using the latest fields and applications Molecular Biology and Modern Biotechnology, as it is the first institute of its kind in the Republic and based on interdisciplinary studies. The delegation includes a group of faculty members from the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna, Austria, on their first visit to the university for educational and research purposes and for their participation in the launching of a workshop of the Institute for Molecular Biology Research and Studies which is scheduled to be held from February 18 to 20 under the title "Isolation of basic cells and modification of cell behavior using CRISPR technology for genetic modification." The meeting is to be held in the presence of Dr. Asmaa Abdel Nasser, Dean of the Institute of Molecular Biology.
