Dr. El-Minshawy announces discounts of up to 25% on sports activities at the Olympic Village at Assiut University with the start of the summer season and the operation of the swimming pool after its development

Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, announced the start of the summer season at the Olympic Village at the university, including the provision of a package of new discounts on sports activities subscriptions, which reach 20% for brothers, and 25% for three brothers, in support of families and alleviating financial burdens, in addition to the inclusion of assigned workers and daily employment among the categories benefiting from these discounts.

The president of the University stressed that this step comes within the framework of the University's keenness to provide integrated sports and entertainment services that keep pace with the needs of its employees and the outside community, pointing out that the start of the summer season coincides with the completion of the development and maintenance work witnessed by the village facilities, especially the swimming pool, which was restarted after raising its technical efficiency in full, in preparation for receiving pioneers in the best possible way.

These decisions came during the board of Directors meeting of the Olympic Village Public Service Fund, which was chaired by Dr. Ahmed Abdulmoula, vice president of the University for education and Student Affairs, and in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Salah al-Din Qora'a, general supervisor of the public service center at the Olympic Village.

The meeting also reviewed the plan of the new summer season, which includes various sports and recreational activities aimed at different ages and categories from inside and outside the University, reflecting the University's community role and its interest in promoting sports and health awareness.

The meeting was attended by a number of executive and administrative leaders at the university, including Dr. Haitham Ibrahim, Director General of the General Administration of student welfare, engineer Mohammed Thabet Abdul Awad, director general of the General Administration of engineering affairs, Mr. Ahmed Shawki Al-Kashef, head of the Central Department of legal affairs, in addition to Mr. Mohammed Amin Salama represented by Mr. Shawkat saber, secretary general of the University.
