Assiut University announces the establishment of its first technological college and technical school at the level of Egyptian universities in cooperation with the German government

Assiut University President, Prof. Tarek El-Gammal, announced the start of procedures for establishing the first technological complex affiliated with the University of Assiut, which includes an advanced technological college and a technical school, which represents another advanced experience similar to the technological complex established at the University and affiliated to the Educational Development Fund chaired by the Council of Ministers. This came during the reception of the President of Assiut University, Mr. Bernhard Streicher, head of the German team supporting the project of the technological complex, Dr. Adel Abdo, professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, expert in the Education Development Fund and director of the complex at the University of Assiut. The President of Assiut University stated that this decision comes within the framework of the university’s strategy to move to the ranks of third-generation universities by harnessing its scientific and human capabilities to support and advance the industrial sector, and to provide education and training opportunities for young people in various professional and artistic fields which would cope with scientific, technological and digital development and meet the needs of the renewable labor market.
