Assiut University brings together the pioneers and professors of engineering sciences in the Arab and foreign world on one platform in the first international conference in the Middle East on engineering and advanced technologies

Today, the proceedings of the first international engineering conference in the Middle East for advanced engineering and technologies were organized today at Assiut University, organized by the faculties of engineering from the University of Assiut and the universities of Qadisiyah and the Iraqi University of Mustansiriya as well as the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Birmingham, UK, under the auspices of Prof. Tarek Al-Gammal, President of Assiut University, and Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, President of the University of Qadisiyah, and Dr. Hamid Fadel Al-Tamimi, President of Al-Mustansiriya University, in the presence of Prof. Shehata Gharib Shalqamy, Vice President of Assiut University for Education and Student Affairs on behalf of the President of the University, and Prof. Ahmed Al Minshawi, Vice President of the University for Research and Graduate Studies, Prof. Nobby Mohamed Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Assiut, Dr. Malik Jassim, Dean of the College of Al-Mustansiriya Engineering, and a group of senior experts and distinguished faculty members from the universities of Assiut, Iraq, Birmingham and other various Arab countries. As for the main goals of the conference, Dr. Noubi Mohamed Hassan indicated that these goals are summed up in promoting cooperation between scientists, researchers and professionals in the academic fields related to engineering sciences, especially the electronic engineering sector from all parts of the world, based on the great momentum that the conference witnessed in its first day at Assiut University, taking into consideration the number of attendees and their desire to provide advanced engineering sciences that would benefit all Arab and foreign universities.
