For the first time.. Assiut University launches a training program to teach the Japanese language to children in cooperation with the Japanese Foundation in Cairo
The Japanese Center for education and research activities at Assiut University announced the opening of registration for the first specialized training program in teaching the Japanese language to children, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of the university, as part of the University's keenness to promote language education and spread Japanese culture among young people.
The program targets children from 9 to 15 years of age, provided that the course will be taught by a selection of specialized and accredited professors from the Japanese Foundation in Cairo, where the course is scheduled to begin next August and last for two months, under the supervision of Dr. Jamal Badr, vice president of the University for graduate studies and research, and Dr. Dina Murad, director of the Japanese Center.
In this context, Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of the University, stressed that the launch of this program comes within the framework of the University's orientation towards supporting outstanding educational and cultural activities and providing opportunities to learn new languages, which contributes to the development of children's linguistic and cultural skills and opening up wide knowledge horizons for them from a young age, pointing out that the university always seeks to provide quality programs that keep pace with the requirements of society and contribute to the preparation of a generation conscious and open to world cultures.
