Assiut University raises the slogan "Together against Cancer" during its opening of the proceedings of the thirteenth international conference of the Department of Oncology

Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, Vice President of Assiut University for Graduate Studies and Research, revealed that the next stage will witness a boom in the level of health services provided to oncology patients in Upper Egypt, in light of the interest and direct presidential support given by the medical care file from the political leadership, which included the national project. Which was launched by Dr. Tarek El-Gamal, President of Assiut University, to start the construction of the new 2020 University Hospital for Oncology, with a budget expected to reach one billion and 700 million pounds, which is to be implemented according to the latest international medical and engineering systems.

This came during the opening of the proceedings of the thirteenth international conference of the Department of Oncology, which is organized by the Faculty of Medicine in cooperation with the Faculties of Pharmacy and Nursing, and witnessed the presence of Prof. Maha Ghanem, Vice President for University Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Alaa Attia, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Assiut University Hospitals, and Prof. Samir Shehata, Head of Oncology Department and Conference President, Prof. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Samah Abdullah, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Prof. Ihab Fawzy, Executive Director of Assiut University Hospitals, Prof. Mohamed Zain, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Assiut, and Prof. Ayman Mansour, Director of North and Central Upper Egypt Insurance Sector

Prof. Dr. / Ahmed Mohamed Abdel Mawla - Dean of the Faculty and Prof. Dr. / Gihan Nabil Hassan Fetih- Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research of the Faculty ,made an inspection tour to follow up the examinations of postgraduate students (credit hours) on Thursday, February 17, 2022 for the first semester of the academic year 2021/2022, in order to ensure compliance with all instructions regulating the examination process.

The meeting of the Curriculum Development Committee, the study plan, and course descriptions, God willing, will be held on Tuesday, 1-2-2022, at ten thirty in the morning in the department council meeting room.
