Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, the Board of Directors of the Compulsory Training Unit for Internship Pharmacists at the Faculty convened.
The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Gehan Nabil Fateih, Dean of the Faculty and Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Unit, and Dr. Sahr Badr Hassan, Acting Head of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Director of the Unit.

The meeting discussed the preparations for the new academic year 2025/2026 for the compulsory training of internship pharmacists.

Under the patronage of Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of the University, and Prof. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Gehan Nabil Feteih, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Prof. Hassan Refaat Hassan, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, honored the students of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University, who participated in the 13th Student Conference at Mansoura University, held during the period 15–17 September 2025.

The students contributed with a number of scientific research papers and posters. Mennatallah Saleh Massoud (5th year, Clinical Pharmacy) won 3rd place for her research in the field of Medical and Organic Chemistry. All participating students also received certificates of appreciation during the conference.
The honoring ceremony was attended by Dr. Shaimaa Ali Abdel-Zaher, Director of the Youth Welfare Department, and Mr. Mohamed Makhlouf Ali, Specialist of the Scientific Committee in the Youth Welfare Department.
Such student participation in these activities comes in line with the Faculty’s vision to support creativity, enhance scientific research, and develop students’ skills.

Under the patronage of Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of the University, and Prof. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the Youth Welfare Department at the Faculty of Pharmacy organized an orientation meeting and welcome ceremony for new students at the Faculty of Pharmacy – Assiut University for the academic year 2025/2026.
The event was held under the supervision of Prof. Gehan Nabil Feteih, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Hassan Refaat Hassan, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, with the attendance of Prof. Dina Fathallah Mohamed, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Hesham Mohamed Tawfik, Head of the Department of Industrial Pharmacy and Student Activities Coordinator, in addition to the Heads of Departments, faculty members, and Mr. Tarek Sayed Hassan, Faculty Secretary.
In their speeches, Prof. Gehan Nabil Feteih and Prof. Hassan Refaat Hassan congratulated and welcomed the new students, affirming that the Faculty administration had taken all necessary measures and preparations to ensure the smooth running of the educational process. They stressed the Faculty’s commitment to safeguarding the health and safety of its students, securing its facilities, and providing an atmosphere of calm and discipline within the Faculty.
They also emphasized adherence to the academic timetable, the importance of starting classes from the first day, and focusing on the essential aspects of the curriculum to guarantee the quality of the educational process. The new students were encouraged to make the most of their years of study, achieve the highest levels of academic performance, and benefit from the diverse educational, cultural, and sports activities offered by the Faculty to enhance their skills and prepare them for the requirements of the labor market both inside and outside Egypt. Students were also urged to maintain the cleanliness of the Faculty, which is considered their property and that of future generations.
The Dean and Vice Dean extended their thanks to the Youth Welfare Department, represented by Dr. Shaimaa Ali Abdel-Zaher, Director of the Youth Welfare Department, and the activities’ specialists for their efforts in organizing the orientation and welcome ceremony.
The event took place on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the Faculty of Pharmacy lecture halls.



Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of the University, accompanied by Prof. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, paid an inspection visit to the Faculty of Pharmacy at the beginning of the academic year 2025/2026.
They were welcomed by Prof. Gehan Nabil Feteih, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Hassan Refaat Hassan, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.
During the visit, the University President assured himself of the smooth running of the educational process. In his address to the students, he urged them to remain committed to all aspects of their academic journey, including lectures, practical training, and extracurricular activities. He also extended his congratulations on the start of the new academic year, wishing them continued success, excellence, creativity, and achievement.

Dr. Ola Mohamed Fahmy Aboughdeir announces that the next lecture will be held, God willing, on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the lecture hall of the Department of Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry.
The practical session will take place on Sunday, September 28, 2025, in the lecture halls on the fifth floor of Building (A).
This applies only once (this week only), after which the schedule will return to its regular times in the following week.
Therefore, students are kindly requested to adhere to the announced schedule.
