في إطار الجولات الميدانية لمسابقة "أفضل كلية صديقة للبيئة" بجامعة أسيوط: اللجنة تبدأ زياراتها لكليات العلوم والزراعة والهندسة
في إطار مسابقة "أفضل كلية صديقة للبيئة" التي تنظمها جامعة أسيوط، بدأت اللجنة المُشكّلة لتقييم الكليات أولى جولاتها الميدانية، بزيارة كليات العلوم والزراعة والهندسة، وذلك تحت رعاية الدكتور أحمد المنشاوي، رئيس الجامعة، وبإشراف الدكتور محمود عبد العليم، نائب رئيس الجامعة لشئون خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة.
تهدف الجولات الميدانية إلى الوقوف على مدى التزام الكليات بمعايير المسابقة، وتقييم مدى تبنيها لممارسات وسياسات بيئية مستدامة داخل الحرم الجامعي، من خلال مراجعة دقيقة للإجراءات المتعلقة بالبنية التحتية، والسلامة والصحة المهنية، وترشيد استهلاك الطاقة والمياه، وإدارة المخلفات.
وأكد الدكتور أحمد المنشاوي أن هذه الجولات تأتي في إطار التزام الجامعة برؤيتها للتحول إلى جامعة خضراء ومستدامة وفق معايير الجيل الرابع من الجامعات، مثمنًا دور الكليات في دعم هذه الرؤية، ومؤكدًا أهمية تعزيز الوعي البيئي، وتبني مشروعات ومبادرات صديقة للبيئة تخدم الطلاب والمجتمع.
وشملت الزيارة لكلية العلوم، عرضًا توضيحيًا وفيديو حول جهودها البيئية، واستعرضت مشروعات مثل الحديقة النباتية، والمستشعرات الحركية والإضاءة، والمكتبة الرقمية بتقنية QRC، إلى جانب تفقد المعامل المركزية (معمل الأشعة السينية، معمل الطاقة النووية)، ودورات المياه الذكية بقسم الرياضيات، ومشروعات الحفاظ على الطاقة ومكافحة الحرائق.
حضر الزيارة الدكتور عصام فضل أبو زيد، وكيل الكلية لشئون خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة، إلى جانب عدد من رؤساء الأقسام وأعضاء هيئة التدريس. وضمّت اللجنة الزائرة كلاً من: الدكتور محمد مصطفى حمد، منسق الزيارة، الأستاذ أسامة السيد، أمين عام الجامعة المساعد، والدكتور محمد محمود الوكيل، والدكتورة سناء زهران، والدكتورة راندا يوسف، والدكتور محمود القاضي، والأستاذة ندى يوسف موثق الزيارة.
وفي كلية الزراعة، استقبل اللجنة الدكتور عادل محمود عميد الكلية، والدكتور جلال عبد الفتاح، وكيل الكلية لشئون خدمة المجتمع، بحضور أعضاء هيئة التدريس والعاملين. وتكوّنت اللجنة من الدكتور محمد عبد الباسط (منسق الزيارة)، والدكتور عوض إبراهيم، والدكتورة ماريان ميلاد، والدكتور عمرو أبو فدان، والدكتورة أمل علي محمود. وشملت الزيارة تفقد القاعات الدراسية، المكاتب الإدارية، معامل الصناعات الغذائية، وحدة الزيوت الطبية والعطرية، وحدة إنتاج دقيق الكاسافا، مزرعة النعام، الزراعات فوق الأسطح، ومزرعة الأزولا.
أما في كلية الهندسة، فقد كان في استقبال اللجنة الدكتور خالد صلاح عميد كلية الهندسة، والدكتور محمد صفوت، وكيل الكلية لشئون التعليم والطلاب والمشرف على قطاع خدمة المجتمع. وشارك في الزيارة الدكتور عمرو سعيد ضيف (منسق الزيارة)، والدكتور الحجاج أحمد حسن، والدكتورة رحاب أحمد زكي، والدكتور وليد عيد مصطفى، الأستاذ أيمن شحاتة، وشملت الجولة تفقد قاعات التدريس، المعامل الطلابية، معامل الطاقة المتجددة، تدوير النفايات، المكاتب الإدارية، العيادة الطبية، ومتابعة تطبيقات ترشيد الطاقة، وسياسات البيئة والمخاطر، والبنية التحتية الخاصة بساحات الانتظار والدراجات.
Within the framework of the field rounds of the "best environmentally friendly college" competition at Assiut University: the committee begins its visits to the faculties of Science, Agriculture and engineering
Within the framework of the "best eco-friendly college" competition organized by Assiut University, the committee formed to evaluate the colleges began its first field tours, visiting the faculties of Science, Agriculture and engineering, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawi, president of the University, and under the supervision of Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Alim, vice president of the University for community service and environmental development.
The field tours aim to determine the extent to which the colleges adhere to the competition standards, and assess the extent to which they adopt sustainable environmental practices and policies within the campus, through a review of procedures related to infrastructure, Occupational Safety and health, energy and water rationalization, and waste management.
Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawiy stressed that these tours come within the framework of the University's commitment to its vision of becoming a green and sustainable university according to the standards of the fourth generation of universities, praising the role of colleges in supporting this vision, stressing the importance of promoting environmental awareness, and adopting environmentally friendly projects and initiatives that serve students and society.
The visit to the Faculty of Science included a demonstration and a video about its environmental efforts, and reviewed projects such as the Botanical Garden, motion sensors and lighting, the digital library with QRC technology, in addition to inspecting the central laboratories (X-ray laboratory, Nuclear Energy Laboratory), smart toilets in the mathematics department, energy conservation and fire fighting projects.
The visit was attended by Dr. Essam Fadel Abu Zeid, vice dean for community service and environmental development, along with a number of department heads and faculty members. The visiting committee included: Dr. Mohammed Mustafa Hamad, coordinator of the visit, Mr. Osama al-Sayed, assistant secretary general of the University, Dr. Mohammed Mahmoud al-Wakil, Dr. Sana Zahran, Dr. Randa Youssef, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Qadi, and Mis. Nada Youssef, the document of the visit.
At the Faculty of Agriculture, the committee was received by Dr. Adel Mahmoud, dean of the faculty, and Dr. Jalal Abdel Fattah, vice dean for community service Affairs, in the presence of faculty members and staff. The committee consisted of Dr. Mohammed Abdel Basset (coordinator of the visit), Dr. Awad Ibrahim, Dr. Marianne Milad, Dr. Amr Abu fedan and Dr. Amal Ali Mahmoud. The visit included visiting classrooms, administrative offices, food industry laboratories, medical and aromatic oils unit, cassava flour production unit, ostrich farm, rooftop farms, and Azula farm.
As for the Faculty of engineering, the committee was received by Dr. Khaled Salah, dean of the Faculty of engineering, and Dr. Mohammed Safwat, vice dean for education and Student Affairs and supervisor of the community service sector. The visit was attended by Dr. Amr said Deif (coordinator of the visit), Dr. Al-Hajjaj Ahmed Hassan, Dr. Rehab Ahmed Zaki, Dr. Walid Eid Mustafa, Mr. Ayman Shehata, and the tour included inspecting classrooms, student laboratories, renewable energy laboratories, waste recycling, administrative offices, medical clinic, and follow-up on energy conservation applications, environmental and risk policies, and infrastructure for parking lots and bicycles.
