About Department

The term "philosophy" is a Greek word that mean, "love of wisdom."

Philosophy is an activity people undertake when they seek to understand the fundamental truths about themselves, the world in which they live, and their relationships to the world and each other.

Sound interesting right! Well, in the department of philosophy, we offer a great studying experience where we equip our students with the knowledge and training needed to understand the philosophy and improve creative and systematical thinking.

Since 1997. We teach philosophy for students from different departments in the faculty of arts like English, Arabic department… etc. We also teach philosophy for other faculties that needs critical, systematical and creative thinking to boost their teaching experience like faculty of Engineering.
