Closing of the Table Tennis Training Course at the Faculty of Arts

Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mowla, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Magdy Alwan, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Mohamed Abu Rahab, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs.
The Youth Welfare Department at the faculty, led by Mr. Alaa Omran, Director of the Department, organized the closing activities of the table tennis training course amid a sporting atmosphere and strong competition among the participating students. The results were announced, with student Adham Mohamed Ibrahim winning first place, student Ziyad Hussein Badi' taking second place, student Ahmed Medhat Mohamed securing third place, and student Ahmed Abdullah Mohamed coming in fourth. Dr. Magdy Alwan extends his sincere congratulations to his winning students.

A team of faculty members from the Faculty of Arts, under the support and supervision of the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Magdy Alwan, continued participating in the second session of the Digital Libraries Unit at the Supreme Council of Universities as part of the training activities on information resources at the Egyptian Knowledge Bank in Egyptian universities, held in the discussion hall of the administrative building.
The session was attended by Dr. Gamal Badr, Vice President of the University, and Dr. Mohamed Thabet, Director of the Digital Libraries Unit, and featured lectures by:
Dr. Yousra Djaboub, Regional Director of the Jove Database
Mr. Mohamed Adel, Business Development Manager at the Taylor & Francis Group DatabaseIt is worth noting that these databases are among the advanced publishing houses in the field of multidisciplinary scientific research and research disciplines. They have several publications and are contracted with the Knowledge Bank to provide opportunities for researchers to benefit from global databases and information supported by the Supreme Council of Universities.

Scout Clan Selection Camp at the College of Arts

The College's Youth Welfare Administration organized the Scout and Girl Scout Clan Selection Camp for participants in the university's scouting and guiding course in the college garden. This comes from the college's keenness to support scouting activities, which develop young people's personal and social skills, promote a sense of responsibility and national belonging, and provide them with practical experience in cooperation, problem-solving, and community service. Additionally, it aims to build strong personalities and good citizens through various activities, such as cultural, artistic, sports, and public service activities.
