The First Preparatory Meeting for the 10th International Scientific Conference at the Faculty of Education, Assiut University
Under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, the first preparatory meeting for the 10th International Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Education was held today. The conference was titled:
"Creative Education and Human Development."
The meeting was chaired by Professor Dr. Hassan Hawil, Dean of the Faculty, and attended by a group of professors and education experts from the Faculty.
The meeting discussed and formulated the themes of the conference, which is scheduled to be held in November 2025 in the Grand Conference Hall at Assiut University. This meeting reflects the Faculty's vision for developing educational and creative thought and contributing to building an informed individual capable of keeping pace with the changing times.
We extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of the University, for his continuous support of scientific research activities and his constant guidance to raise the academic and research level, thus enhancing the university's standing locally and internationally.

Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Center for Psychological and Educational Counseling at the Faculty of Education
The Board of Directors of the Center for Psychological and Educational Counseling at the Faculty of Education held a meeting today, chaired by Professor Hassan Huwail, Dean of the College, and attended by Professor Amani Mohamed Sharif, Vice Dean of the College and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Ali Salah, Director of the Center, and members of the Board of Directors.
The meeting discussed ways to develop the psychological and educational services provided by the Center and discussed offering a range of community activities and counseling sessions specifically for children, which would contribute to strengthening the Center's role in serving the local community.
Professor Hassan Huwail emphasized the importance of working in accordance with the directives of Professor Ahmed Elminshawy, President of the University, which emphasize the activation of the role of specialized centers in serving the environment and society, and promoting the mental health of children and adolescents as a pillar of sustainable development.
College of Education Council Meeting - May 2025
The College of Education Council met today for the month of May 2025, chaired by Professor Hassan Huwail, Dean of the College, and attended by the College's Vice Deans, heads of academic departments, and Council members.
The Council discussed a number of important topics related to research and administrative aspects, as part of the ongoing effort to enhance the level of academic and administrative performance within the College.
The meeting also addressed final preparations for postgraduate examinations, ensuring a suitable environment for students, and preparing for the College's 10th International Scientific Conference, a leading scientific platform for promoting scientific research and exchanging expertise with researchers from within and outside the country.
The College affirms its continued support for the path of excellence and innovation in achieving its vision and mission of serving the community and advancing the level of education.

The thesis was titled: "The Effect of a Pivotal Response-Based Program on Reducing Self-Injurious Behavior in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder."
