The Seventh Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Education, Assiut University, was held on 27-28 October 2018 in the Red Sea Governorate under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Assiut University President, Dr. Adel El Nagdy, With the active participation of former Ministers of Education, D / lover of the crane, and. Dr. Hilali Al-Sherbini, in the presence of more than 130 participants from the deans of the faculties of education and their professors in Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Jordan and the State of Sudan.The conference discussed over two days, in six research sessions and a main session, more than 50 papers and a working paper, including the various themes of the conference.Conference participants recommended that:The participants recommended that the League of Arab States, through its affiliated educational institutions, develop a unified Arab vision that includes strategic objectives to rebuild the personality of the Arab citizen and promote Arab identity through:1. Review the educational and educational strategic plans of the Member States in light of the dimensions of Arab national security.2 - Developing educational programs that address the threats to Arab national security and how to confront them.3 - Developing unified Arab standards that represent the minimum common between Arab curricula and educational programs provided by civil society institutions in these countries.4 - Include the subject of education of Arab refugees within the concerns of the Department of Education of the League of Arab States.The participants recommended the ministries of education in Egypt and the Arab world to play their main role in instilling the values of citizenship and belonging among the learners in different educational stages through:1 - to allocate more space in the curricula of courses and activities that emphasize the values of citizenship and belonging.2- To improve the educational and leadership performance of teachers and principals through targeted programs.3. Confirmation of the national partnership with institutions with expertise versus foreign partnerships in the development of curricula and development of teachers and examinations.4 - hard work to eliminate the field practices that threaten the psychological and social security of children, such as private tutoring, and the multiplicity of educational systems (government - private - international) in Egypt and the Arab countries.The participants recommended the colleges of education in Egypt and the Arab world to develop their research and societal plans to support their roles in providing intellectual and psychological security through:Include the topics of Arab national security within the research plans that derive from the master's and doctoral degrees in education, and promotion research with the employment of its results.To develop conceptual and value frameworks for the faculties of education by including a component of Arab national security, and the consequent development of the teacher's preparation. Attention to cultural programs and community and community service programs related to the subject of national security and the development of related knowledge and skills.Adopting the culture of volunteerism and carrying out service activities for the local community, and considering them as an essential part in the assessment of the student teacher in order to develop belonging and contribute to the treatment of problems.The participants recommended supporting educational institutions, especially the media and professional and community associations, to contribute to efforts to provide national security dimensions through:Focus on the continuity of awareness of this issue, highlighting the seriousness of destructive ideas and misconceptions, and rumors affecting national security.Organizing conferences, seminars and workshops related to national security issues, and working to raise the level of educators, parents, teachers and others in dealing positively in these issues.Provide logistical and material support for the promotion of community education for refugees in Arab countries and marginalized groups and attention to the dimensions of psychological security of these groups.Introducing competitions and projects aimed at supporting Arab national security.Fifth, the participants recommended that Arab families as educational institutions pay attention to the dealings of children with technological media and various media sources through:Continuous communication with schools and active participation in their various activities in order to strengthen the relationship between them. Awareness of human values related to national security, and diligence in supporting children from the early stages of education.
