Professor Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, affirmed the University's commitment to the continuous improvement and development of the campus environment and infrastructure across all University facilities. He emphasized the importance of enhancing these facilities in a manner that reflects the distinctive architectural character of the University campus, while maximizing the utilization of available spaces and resources to provide more comprehensive and advanced services.
As part of these efforts, Professor Mohamed Adawy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, conducted an inspection tour on Sunday, June 21, of the Eastern and Western Faculty Housing Complexes to monitor the ongoing development and maintenance works and assess implementation progress and work quality. The tour was attended by Professor Essam El-Sherif, Chairman of the Administrative Housing Board.
During the visit, Professor Mohamed Adawy inspected the upgrading of pedestrian walkways and perimeter walls, general maintenance and renovation works, the development and maintenance of the football field, and the completion of barbed-wire fencing around the housing complex to enhance safety and provide an integrated residential environment for faculty members.
During the tour, the Vice President stressed the importance of completing all ongoing works according to the approved timeline while adhering to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. He noted that these projects are part of the University's broader efforts to modernize its facilities and provide a well-maintained and supportive living environment for faculty members.
The inspection tour was accompanied by Eng. Mohamed Thabet, Director General of the Engineering Administration; Mr. Mostafa Gaber Shaker, Director General of the Faculty Housing and Guest Houses Administration; Mr. Hesham Safwat Hassan, Director of the Housing Administration; Mr. Mahmoud Mohamed El-Sayed, Director of the Guest Houses Administration; in addition to a number of faculty members, administrators, and officials from the Western Faculty Housing Complex.
