Quality Policy:
Thrombosis and Haemostasis Lab (THL) in Assiut University Hospital is considered the first and largest specialized laboratory in this field .
The aim of (THL) is to be the first accredited reference lab in Upper Egypt to diagnose the Thrombotic and Haemostatic disorders. Our aim is the early detection of these diseases and to follow the latest available scientific methods to reach the final diagnosis according to the international laboratories standards, to assure an early treatment of the cases and reduction of the incidence of the complications, also we aim to encourage and raise the quality of the scientific research in our field .
SCOP of services:
* providing accurate methodologies and latest equipments to measure
- The Clotting screen tests (PT, APTT, Fibrinogen, Thrombin time).
- Platelet aggregation tests (ADP, Collagen, Fibrinogen, Ristocetin)
- Estimation of the coagulation factors and coagulation factor inhibitors.
- Thrombophilia screening tests.
- Fibrinolytic assays and Thrombo Elestography.
* Providing new assays and advanced equipments to meet the recent scientific research needs.
