"The International Relations Sector's tasks"

  1.  To contribute in making Assiut University a distinguished institution at the regional and international levels in the fields of scientific research, exchange of professors and students, transfer of experiences and joint cooperation in all fields.
  2. To establish distinguished international agreements and cooperation with distinct international universities and institutions.
  3. The University's "The International Relations Sector" seeks to stimulate and activate scientific cooperation in the field of research and development with Universities and international research centers and raise awareness of the importance of benefiting from scholarships at the level of faculty, associate body and bachelor's students, as well as encouraging exchanges at the level of students and professors and establishing joint programmes with international Universities.
  4. To Promote and strengthen the University's international relations with colleges and facilitate access to research, educational and training opportunities for faculty members, their collaborators, undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  5. To encourage the University Administration and the Ministry of Higher Education to think about internationalization and promote international cooperation as one of the University's capacity-building tools.
  6. To improve the capacity of university-level scholarship applicants to increase their access to scholarships and increase their competitiveness and outperform their Egyptian, regional and international university graduates.
  7. To assist in the establishment, activation, implementation and follow-up of various plans and programmes to build institutional and individual capacities at the university level and follow up the implementation of all international conventions at the university's colleges.
  8. To provide needed assistance and advice to faculty members, their collaborators and students to take advantage of international cooperation and funding opportunities available locally, regionally and internationally.
  9.  To raise the University's ranking globally.
  10.   To attract more students to study at the university within the distinctive educational programs.
  11. To communicate with international institutions for quality and accreditation to share experiences and assist the University in obtaining international accreditation.
