Assiut University concludes a memorandum of scientific and cultural cooperation with the University of Maiduguri, Nigeria

Assiut University President, Prof.Dr. Tarek El-Gamal, affirmed that the university administration is keen to deepen cooperation between the university and other universities and educational institutions in African countries in all fields. He pointed out that this comes through the university administration seeking to establish educational ties and joint research projects between it and many African universities. It would contribute to the development of plans and solutions to meet the current challenges that beset the African peoples. This came in conjunction with the approval of the University Council to conclude a memorandum of understanding for cultural and scientific cooperation between the universities of Assiut and Maiduguri, Nigeria. In this regard, Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawi, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, said that the memorandum is an affirmation of the two universities' keenness to develop scientific and cultural cooperation between them in order to achieve the common advantages of the two universities.
