Assiut University, under the supervision of prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of the University, participated today, Tuesday, December, in the workshop "International Publishing", which was organized by the Quality Assurance Center at Sphinx University, and Dr. Jamal Badr, vice president of Assiut University for graduate studies and Research Affairs, participated under the supervision of Dr. Mansour Kabbash, president of Sphinx University, at the seminar hall at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Sphinx University.

  The workshop was attended by Dr. Mahmoud Shiha, vice president of Sphinx University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Ghada Abdel Rahman, director of the Quality Assurance Center at Sphinx University, a group of deans, vice deans, faculty members, the Associate Board, and a group of young researchers.

 Dr. Mahmoud Shiha, vice president of Sphinx University for Education and Student Affairs, expressed his pleasure in cooperating with Assiut University and organizing scientific meetings to raise the efficiency of researchers in how to carry out scientific research and ways to publish it and encourage young researchers to benefit from the existence of distinguished scientific stances and come up with fruitful information.

 Dr. Jamal Badr presented a scientific lecture entitled: "How to build your scientific information about international publishing .. During this he addressed a number of important topics, including the concept of international publication, how to prepare scientific research, developing the website to raise the International Classification of the University, scientific considerations to be taken into account before preparing research, sending it for publication in journals affiliated to WOS, the strategic plan for supervising scientific dissertations, in addition to explaining the steps of international publication, the most important points that researchers should follow in international publication, how to ensure that the journal is listed on the WOS website, calculating the Q, analyzing the results, and comparing them with published research. 

  Dr. Ghada Abdul Rahman thanked and appreciated the university leadership for their active participation in the workshop, wishing all participants to benefit from the topics discussed in the workshop.
