Prof. El-Minshawy announces the completion of preparations for the reception of the new academic year 2024/2025 at Assiut National University

- Approval of the amendment of the internal regulations of the program: Bachelor of Oral Medicine and Dental Surgery at the Faculty of Dentistry - with the credit hours system

The Academic Council of Assiut National University held its meeting yesterday evening, Thursday, September 26, under the chairmanship of Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University and Commissioner for the Conducting the Business of Assiut National University, and in the presence of Dr. Noubi Mohammed Hassan, Vice President of Assiut National  University for Academic Affairs, Prof. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President of Assiut University for Education and Student Affairs, the deans of the faculties entrusted with studying at the National University, and Mr. Mustafa Hassan, Secretary General of the National University; to discuss a number of topics related to the educational and administrative process.

At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy congratulated the members of the Academic Council, all faculty members, and members of the administrative staff working at National University; on the occasion of the start of the new academic year 2024/2025, thanking the deans of the Faculties, and the directors of study programs at National  University, for completing the preparations for the start of the academic year.

Prof. Al-Minshawy announced the completion of the preparations for Assiut National University to receive its old and new students, coinciding with the start of the new academic year 2024/2025, and is scheduled to start studying tomorrow, Saturday, September 28, 2024.

Prof. El-Minshawy Appreciated The Distinguished Performance, The Efforts Of The Administrative Body, And The Sincere And Diligent Work It Made During The Coordination Period, And The Implementation Of Procedures For The Admission And Registration Of New Students.

Prof. El-Minshawy referred to the measures taken by Assiut National University in preparation for the new academic year, where all the necessary measures were taken, which ensure the regularity of the educational process during the academic year, and ensuring the readiness of the classrooms allocated for theoretical lectures, as well as laboratories and halls dedicated to practical training and sections, while stressing the need to provide all means of support and care for students.

The Council approved the internal regulations of the program: Bachelor of Medicine and Oral Dentistry at the Faculty of Dentistry - with the credit hour system, as well as approving that the transfer from other universities to the Faculty of Medicine at Assiut Al-Ahliya University should not be accepted except for students transferred to the second and third divisions only, and it was approved that the financial transaction of Assiut University for the services provided to expatriate students; as approved by the Supreme Council of Universities in this regard, in addition to a number of other topics in various fields; academic, administrative, and financial related to the progress of work at the National University.
