Within the framework of the presidential initiative "the Beginning".Prof. El-Minshawy inspects the marketing exhibition for family supplies and students

Prof. El-Minshawy confirms support for self-employment and craft and industrial projects for young people and praises the products offered by university graduates

Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, inspected this morning, Wednesday, October 9; the marketing exhibition for families and students, which is organized by the Community Service Affairs and Environmental Development Affairs Sector at the university, in cooperation with the Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises Development Authority, in Civilizations Street at the university; to follow up on the projects offered by university graduates, and the people of Assiut Governorate, and to check on the quality of the products offered, and their suitability for all the requirements and needs of members of the university community.

The exhibition comes within the agenda of activities and events held by Assiut University within the framework of the Presidential Initiative for Human Development "A New Beginning; Building the Human Being", which extends until October 16, under the supervision of Prof. Mahmoud Abdel Aleem, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Mr. Bassel Rahmi, Executive Director of the Medium, Small, and Micro Enterprises Development Authority, in the presence of Mr. Ihab Abdel Hamid, Director of the Middle and Micro Enterprises Development Authority Branch in Assiut, and with the participation of a group of those in charge of the exhibition.

Prof. Ahmed Al-Minshawy stressed that Assiut University is keen to embrace young people, work to implement their ideas, translate them into real projects on the ground, and encourage them to build their entity, by supporting the idea of self-employment; in the fields of craft and industrial projects, and the participation of civil society institutions; to open multiple marketing channels; that would contribute to the growth and development of these projects, and their access to foreign markets.

Prof. El-Minshawy continued on the products displayed within the various sections of the exhibition, reassuring their quality and suitability for the needs of students, as well as offering all supplies at discounted prices, expressing his happiness with the exhibitors during his meeting with them, who confirmed their marketing for locally made products of high quality, which proves the ability of the Egyptian industry to achieve self-sufficiency in many products, especially in light of the state's support and encouragement of this trend, and its quest to deepen local manufacturing and rely on the local industry.

The exhibition offers a lot of goods and various supplies that require all university members, which include: school supplies, office, scientific devices, and laboratory, in addition to ready-made clothing, furniture, shoes, hand accessories (hand made), school bags, along with food commodities, cans, as well as some products for people of determination, at reduced prices of up to 20: 25%.

The President of the University pointed to the effective role and great participation of the various sectors of the university in the work of the presidential initiative "beginning ", believing in the state's trends towards human development and enhancing its capabilities in all fields, as well as supporting various initiatives aimed at combating high costs and reducing the burden on the Egyptian family.

Prof. El-Minshawy also pointed out that the organization of the exhibition comes within the framework of the cooperation protocol between the university and the Enterprise Development Authority, which aims to hold marketing exhibitions for students' products and projects, hold introductory seminars, and various activities in the fields of; entrepreneurship, training on creating job opportunities, how to manage projects, feasibility studies, and market study, as well as training girls on traditional and handicrafts.

For his part, Mr. Ihab Abdel Hamid explained that the exhibition includes (10) exhibitors and exhibitors; from the clients of the Enterprise Development Authority from the graduates of the university, the people of Assiut governorate, and those who have financial and non-financial services provided by the Authority, as a contribution to marketing their projects, and displaying their products in several marketing exhibitions inside and outside Egypt, as well as supporting distinguished handicrafts; to revive heritage again, and helping young craft owners to start their investment projects and develop their skills, in a way that enables the optimal marketing of these projects.
