Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, received, at his office, today, Sunday 4 from January; Dr. Ahmed Mohamed wahban, professor of political science, dean of the Faculty of Economic Studies and political science, Alexandria University, within the framework of his scientific visit to Assiut University; to participate in the discussion of a doctoral thesis in Political Science, Faculty of Commerce at the University.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Alaa Abdul Hafeez, dean of the Faculty of Commerce, Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Adawi, vice dean of the faculty for education and Student Affairs, Dr. Abdul Salam noir, professor of Political Science, former dean of the faculty, and Dr. Ismail Sabri Makled, professor of political science at the faculty, and former dean of the Faculty of Commerce.
Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy welcomed Dr. Ahmed wahban, the University's guest, appreciating his scientific and academic cooperation, which is a continuation of the various educational services provided by Assiut University to support and develop the skills of researchers and students, stressing the University's leadership and excellence in various scientific and research fields in Upper Egypt, as well as its familiarity with all international developments, to create a University climate supportive of excellence, scientific excellence, and work to link the gains of learning and scientific research, with the current and future needs of society.
The president of the University pointed out that the Faculty of Commerce has multiple departments, distinguished programs, and various experiences, which keep pace with the requirements of the labor market, and contribute to the preparation of a new generation of academics and researchers, who are able to contribute to public policies in the country and various development projects, stressing the University's keenness on the continuous development of the scientific research plan, and the opening of new study paths; keep pace with the vision of Egypt 2030, the requirements of the University, and its strategic plan; to achieve the desired progress at all levels.
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Ahmed wahban is participating in the discussion of the doctoral thesis submitted by the researcher, Mona Amer Mohamed Mostafa, entitled"The role of external interventions in the failure of countries .. Libya since the uprising 2011 until 2022 a model", in addition to Dr. Ismail Sabri Mokled, professor of political science at the faculty, former dean of the Faculty of Commerce (supervisor and President), Dr. Alaa Abdel Hafiz dean of the Faculty of Commerce (internal discussion), and Dr. Mounir Mahmoud Badawi, professor of political science at the Faculty of Commerce (supervisor)
