Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, sent a congratulatory telegram
His Excellency President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, president of the Republic, and Dr. Ahmed El-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, on the occasion of the celebration of the anniversary of Al-Isra, and Al-Miraj.

The president of Assiut University said in the text of the Telegram: "With feelings filled with pride and appreciation, I and the Assiut University family are pleased on the occasion of the celebration of the anniversary of Israa and Miraj, to send to your lordship sincere congratulations and sincere wishes, calling on Lord azzogel to return this dignified religious occasion to your sovereignty and Egypt and the Islamic nation with good, Yemen and blessings”.

He added:” This blessed occasion comes to renew the values of faith, perseverance, and giving, and confirms that God will always make victory an ally of sincere hard work, calling on the Almighty to achieve for our dear Egypt all the hopes and aspirations, and every year your sovereignty and the people of Egypt well and peace".
