Dr. El-Minshawy receives a master's thesis by researcher Mahmoud Ajami on media education and praises the importance of the topic in light of the challenges of digital media

  Dr. Ahmed El – Minshawy, president of Assiut University, received researcher Mahmoud Ajmi Mahmoud Ali said, a member of the journalists syndicate, who presented him with a copy of his master's thesis, which was entitled: "media education for university students in the light of the repercussions of digital media-a field study," for which he received a master's degree with an "excellence" in the field of pedagogy at the Faculty of Education, Assiut University.

During the meeting, Dr. El-Minshawy congratulated the researcher on this academic achievement, praising the importance of the thesis topic, which addresses one of the vital issues in our digital age, and reflects an advanced awareness of the impact of digital media on shaping the consciousness of university students. The president of the University stressed the importance of supporting scientific research that keeps pace with the changes of the Times and contributes to strengthening the role of the University in building a responsible knowledge society, pointing out that the development of media education has become one of the priorities of university education in light of the information explosion and the accelerated development of communication technologies.

The letter discussed ways to activate the role of Assiut University in the development of media education among its students in the light of the repercussions of digital media, and came up with a proposal that contributes to enhancing students ' awareness and critical dealing with various media.

It is noteworthy that the discussion and judging committee on the letter consisted of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Al – Saghir, professor and head of the Department of pedagogy and director of the Adult Education Center at the Faculty of Education – Assiut University (Chairman and supervisor), Prof. Dr. Hanan Ahmed Al – Rubi, professor of pedagogy and director of the Integrated Education Center at the Faculty of Education – Beni Suef University (discussion Member), Prof. Dr. Amani Mohamed Sharif, professor of pedagogy and vice dean of the Faculty of education for community service and environmental development – Assiut University (discussion member), as well as full-time teacher of pedagogy-Faculty of Education-Assiut University (supervisor).
