Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, sent a congratulatory telegram to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, president of the Republic, on the occasion of the forty-third anniversary of the liberation of Sinai, during which he expressed his sincere congratulations and sincere wishes to His Excellency and the great people of Egypt on this precious national occasion.

Dr. El-Minshawy said in the text of the Telegram: "I am pleased to extend to Your Excellency the best congratulations and sincere wishes on the occasion of the Sinai Liberation Day, that eternal anniversary in which we evoke the highest meanings of patriotism and redemption, in fulfillment of the sacrifices of the martyrs of our valiant Armed Forces, who gave their lives for the restoration of the precious Sinai land and the preservation of the dignity and territorial integrity of the homeland."

He added: "As we celebrate this occasion dear to the hearts of Egyptians, we renew the Pledge of loyalty and belonging, and confirm our full support for your wise leadership in the process of construction and development, and strengthening the security and stability of the homeland. The heroism of our Armed Forces has instilled in the nation the values of sacrifice, pride and dignity.

The president of Assiut University stressed the University's keenness to fulfill its national role in supporting the state's efforts towards achieving comprehensive development, by harnessing its scientific and research potential and academic expertise to serve the issues of the homeland. He pointed out that Sinai is an eternal symbol of pride and heroism, which puts the responsibility on educational institutions, foremost of which is Assiut University, to contribute effectively to its development plans and graduate qualified cadres to participate in its reconstruction.

Dr. El-Minshawy concluded his Telegram by praying to the Almighty to repeat this occasion to His Excellency the president with good health and continued success and repayment, and to Egypt, its army and its GREAT people with more goodness, security and peace.
