Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University and Commissioner for conducting the work of Assiut private university, congratulated His Excellency President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, president of the Republic, on the occasion of the approaching Eid al-Fitr, wishing God to restore him to his sovereignty and to Egypt and the Islamic nation with good, Yemen and blessings. He also extended his congratulations to the members of the Academic Council, all faculty members, and administrative staff at the private university.
This came at the beginning of the council's work, where Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University and Commissioner for conducting the work of Assiut Al-ahliya University, chaired the eighth meeting of the Academic Council of Assiut Al-ahliya University, which was held on Thursday, March 20 at the University's headquarters in the new city of Assiut, in the presence of Dr. Nobi Mohammed Hassan, vice president of the University for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Mawla, vice president of Assiut University for education and Student Affairs, a number of deans of colleges and Professor Mustafa Hassan, secretary general of Assiut Al-ahliya University, and members of the council.
During the meeting, Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy praised the discipline and good organization witnessed by the midterm exams of the second semester of the academic year 2024/2025 "midterm", which are held in all faculties of the University. He also directed to announce the results of the exams after their completion, which is scheduled to end before the beginning of the Eid El-Fitr holiday, wishing success to all students.
Dr. El-Minshawy praised the great support provided by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to private universities in Egypt, pointing out that this support reflects the vision of the ambitious political leadership to enhance higher education in Egypt and expand its scope to include all segments of society, and stressed that private universities represent an important step towards achieving sustainable development and providing high-quality educational opportunities that contribute to qualifying a generation of young people capable of facing the challenges of the Times and effective contribution to building the nation, praising the efforts of the state in providing all the necessary material and human resources to ensure the success of private universities and achieve their educational and research goals.
Dr. El-Minshawi stressed the keenness of the Assiut State University administration to provide all means of logistical support to the private university, and to provide distinguished scientific and human capabilities to support the educational process, in a way that contributes to providing high-quality educational and research services, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals supported by the political leadership of the private universities file.
The Academic Council reviewed a number of academic, administrative and financial topics related to all faculties and sectors of the private university.
